Life has been busy...working with wonderful clients, creating new adventures, writing, trying to build discipline around the completion of my book. The future looks very bright, so many exciting projects in the pipeline. The rocket fuel for a a creative entrepreneur..new projects!
My daughter has found work that she is enjoying, which makes everyone happy. Since she has been home she certainly has become more of a home body. She has become my home support, cooking and cleaning and caring for the domestics duties. Big, big help. One of our great pleasures we are sharing together is going to bed and reading a chapter out loud from the Twilight series.
My little dog, now 13 years old, has been sick, which has meant disturbed nights. We have found this wonderful naturopathic vet who is a true earth mother and lover of animals. Why is it that some of the very best people that provide service do so not only with such love, but with little compensation. You get without question that Donna the Vet works for love before anything else. There definitely needs to be a social media club for people who work to serve as their prime motivation, for they are rare and yet they are the artists more often than not. And for all of those carers out there, people who work with the sick, the elderly, the disabled, the animals, children, and who do so for a minimum wage...the love economy...when are we going to start to count these people as the true hero's?
Hmm..there is much to be done, and each day in my work I have the privilege of working to support people to move ever closer to their truth. I really am so very lucky.
Enjoy these next four articles..and as always, I love hearing from you, the good and the bad. Do my articles add value to you? What would you like me to write more about? Less? Talk to me...

So a good mix of practical communication skills, some global points of view and more on living in integrity.

If we drop a very small pebble into a pond, ripples will go out from where we dropped the pebble, no matter how small or large the pebble, or how large or small the pond. These ripples have an effect on the whole dynamic of the pond, whether we like it or not. Therefore, to be truly conscious and responsible for our every actions, and thoughts, we need to consider with exquisite care the effect of our action, and the dynamics that are created when we take that action. What effects will our ripples have on the fish in the pond, on the retaining wall, on the growth of the lily pads, of the people who fish in the pond, and the people who buy the fish..eat the fish, or come to the pond to contemplate their future
and the animals who drink from the pond

Healthy Anger, Voluntary Simplicity
....And finally, after I have found the quiet space inside, I need to get to the truth of my recent anger. Pull its black sticky fingers from my internal organs and transmute it into light. This is our real work. And it never ends. Our shadow self finds the nooks and crannies to hide and act up with remarkable agility. Part of our work with our shadow self is to learn to embrace it. Even to like it, like I like and respect my anger. However, my essential self needs to be the manger of my anger. Not my anger to be the manager of my life. This is where the cancer lies. When anger rules.
Many people are terrified by anger. They have no distinction between healthy anger and unhealthy anger. They are terrified by the level of their own suppressed anger, and have no idea how to let it loose without doing damage. Or they are terrified by the anger of others and cower in its presence. Voluntary Simplicity
I have always been ambitious. Voluntary simplicity was not on my radar. I wanted it all. Houses in many places, and not little houses, but ones with many rooms. Cars, and if not business class travel, then a private jet. Clothes made by famous designers, and all the other accoutrements that said success to me. I wanted to do this under my own wind, not through the efforts of the Alpha male. I wanted the Alpha male as well, but not to buy me all the stuff. Just to buy me more stuff that I didnt need. I also wanted the fame with the fortune. I wanted to be someone. Someone that people admired, wanted to be, wanted my fabulous life. To read the full article..

Humility
The more I move towards humility in my life the happier I am. There is a profound grace that comes when I bow to people, nature and events that remind me of my place in the greater scheme of things. This is not because I am less than, or smaller, but because on my own I am just a part of the majestic whole. I do not bow to people to place them higher than me, for this is dangerous. When we place people on a pedestal, there is only one way off the pedestal, and that is to fall. I spent many years of my life allowing myself to be seduce by the glamor of those people who I put on a pedestal. I made them more capable than me, smarter, wiser, more skilled. And in some areas, they certainly were. However, in their light I made my light less. To read the full article..
