Good Morning!
How
well do you pay attention to the many ways that Spirit tries to get your
attention? For that matter, do you believe that there is a power greater
than you that wants to bring good things your way? I certainly do. And I
have learned that the more I pay attention, the more I see evidence of
Spirit’s presence in my life.
It
has been my intention for many years to get my work out to a greater
number of people by writing a book (or two) that would touch people’s
lives and most importantly, remind them of the wisdom they possess within
their own hearts. Over the years, as I have written articles and published
Monday Morning Coach, I have become clearer and clearer that I want the
writing and publishing of my book to be enjoyable and effortless and if
ever I felt myself pushing or struggling, I’d step back and take a break
until things felt effortless again.
About a month ago I made a conscious decision to put my book writing
intention on hold and focus on other things demanding my undivided
attention. This week, just as I was about to abandon my book all together,
Spirit sent me 3 different angels (in just 48 hours) to remind me of my
heart’s desire to birth a book. Thankfully, I have learned to pay
attention and to be appreciative when Spirit tickles me. I say tickle,
because Spirit’s greatest gift to me has been laughter, the ability to
take things a little more lightly, and most of all, the knowingness that I
am not alone.
It’s
taken many years for me to be open to seeing and knowing that I have a
non-physical partner in life. In the past, my need to be in control of
things often squashed any possibility for assistance, especially from
afar. Now, I am smart enough to know that not only am I limited in what I
can create going solo, but that the journey is a heck of a lot more fun
done with Spirit’s help.
If
you were to let go of your need to be in control and lighten up a bit,
where might you see, feel or hear Spirit’s presence in your life? What
might She or He be trying to show or tell you?
