Last week I wrote about
enjoying our freedom to choose. To expand on that premise, here are Ten
Ways to Create Inner Peace. As you play with these ideas, remember to have
fun. Thats by far the most important step to creating inner peace.
1)
Stop your negative Self talk.
2)
Treat yourSelf as kindly as you do your children or friends.
3)
Let go of your need to judge yourself and others.
4)
Cultivate your faith and trust in something greater than you.
5)
Do something nice for someone without desiring anything in return.
6)
Trust yourSelf and your intuition to guide you in all areas of
your life.
7)
Recognize that what you see in your outside world is often a reflection or
mirror to your inside world. Know that at any given moment, you have the
power and authority to change your inner world, and in turn your outer world.
8)
Find and use the tools available to you to cultivate inner peace (yoga,
prayer, meditation, journaling, etc.)
9)
Ask for support and encouragement; you're not in this alone.
10)
Have fun! The quickest way to inner peace is through laughter and joy!
