A Friend
Many
thanks to those of you that sent loving wishes regarding my recent health
challenges. I had hoped to respond to each of you individually, but am
realizing that might be difficult.
Please accept my thanks and
gratitude. Your loving and kind words mean a lot to me.
I
have often said that for many of us giving is easy and receiving is
difficult. I thank you for the opportunity to hone my receiving skills.
For those of you who, like me, are challenged with the ability to
graciously receive, I challenge you this week to be more open to doing so.
Recognize that it takes a willingness to be vulnerable and the capacity to
love oneself; not an easy task for many of us. Lastly, remember to
maintain a sense of humor, as humor has the ability to cut through fear
and get right to the love.
