End-of-Year Thoughts from Lynn
I want to express my appreciation and gratitude to all of you who stay connected to me via this newsletter. You are a wonderful and supportive part of my global community, and I have enjoyed being part of yours during the past 12 months. With so much strife and trouble in the world right now, and so much desire for peace and calm, I know that it can feel difficult to think about your business concerns. I personally feel my focus on my work slowing down, and am drawn to the stories and needs of those less fortunate. For me, this time of year signals the wish to reach out to family and friends. I want to make time to celebrate the end of a good, yet complicated 2005, as I look forward to the start of the next year. My wish for all of you is that you have a safe, loving, and peaceful Holiday Season. I also invite you to reflect on all that you have done this year as a way to begin looking ahead. Please find a quiet time to sit back and ask yourself these questions: What did you learn during the past year that you will bring forward into 2006?
What touched you deeply in 2005? What made you happiest? What do you feel personally proudest about? What did you experience that made the year memorable? What were your best moments? Worst? Where do you find room for improvement? As you look forward to 2006, what do you want for yourself? What do you want for your clients? What do you want for your loved ones? What hopes and dreams do you have for your own small business? What beginning steps will you take to make your hopes and dreams a reality? You and I will be in dialogue through this newsletter, in the coming year. I look forward to being a supportive presence for you in all of your business hopes and dreams. If you would like some business coaching with me early on in the New Year, consider joining the January teleclass. We still have a few spaces left, and the teleclasses are proving to be a wonderful, warm way to energize a practice, develop new ideas and understandings, and feel connected to others doing the same. We have very experienced therapists, coaches, and healers on each call, as well as those newer to private practice. We welcome you to be part of the next teleclass. See below for information.
The Next Teleclass Starts Wednesday, January 4, 2006!
Starting a private practice or renovating a stalled one can be daunting. It takes time and energy to turn a small practice that is just surviving into one that is profitable thriving. Going it alone can be tough, especially when you have a full and demanding life. It helps to have the right kind of support when you are building your practice. The right kind of support can be a coaching group, filled with your peers, who will celebrate with you when you succeed, commiserate (but not indulge you) when you have a tough time, help you stay consistently motivated, encourage you, and hold you accountable for your goals. We meet by "bridgeline" -- an easy to access conference line, that you dial just like a long-distance phone number at the given time, to be connected to everyone on the call. The "Strong Start" Teleclass meets for four months, for a total of 12 hours (three weeks per month) starting Wednesday, January 4, 2006 through April 2006. We meet the first three Wednesdays of each month at 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST. Hang out with Lynn and others by phone, in the privacy of your own home or office. The "Strong Start" Teleclass uses the Lynn's workbook: 12 Months to Your Ideal Private Practice as a manual, and is designed for those who are new to, or re-newing, their private practices. It's a brief, yet intense, way to jumpstart your practice. The cost is $475 total (only $40 per hour!!) and CE's are available for an extra fee. We will keep the group size small, under fifteen members (often less.) For complete information, logistics, fees, and to register go to: Teleclass Registration
First Article Title

Replace this text with your first article. Type your first article using plain text, either directly into the web form, or preferably into a word processing program. Type one return to end a short line, or two returns to create a paragraph break. Otherwise, don't type returns as they will not allow your text to flow and will create raggedy looking lines. To create a bulleted list, type one or more lines beginning with an asterisk followed by one or more spaces. To emphasize a word or a phrase, type an immediately preceding and immediately following the word or phrase, like this: emphasis added*.
