Barry
Mitsch is co-founder and vice-president of The Pyramid
Resource Group, Inc. PRG works with major corporations throughout the
United states, providing executive coaching, coach training and team building
programs. I spoke with Barry recently about coaching and Telebridge use.
Weekly meeting
Every Monday, Pyramid Resource Group has
a company meeting. The staff resides in all parts of the United States yet
they are all able to make it to the meeting on time without getting on a plane.
Barry uses a full-time teleconferencing line. "Using the bridge is like second nature," he says. "Mostly
we use a straight bridge without any features or options. Our clients are familiar
with using teleconferencing and are pretty familiar with the etiquette."
Telebridge has been "a seamless and useful tool." Barry continues, "We
have used the bridge for free teleclasses and paid workshops for our clients.
A typical call is one hour in length with 5-10 participants and one facilitator." What
excites him most about teleconferencing? "It's easy!"
Almost 10 years ago, Pyramid Resource Group
president DJ Mitsch met WebValence owner
Marty Crouch through Coach U. Barry's organization began using a full-time
Telebridge at that time. They have their own dial-in number and set of
PINs that they have access to 24-7. "We have used [other company's] bridges
and sometimes they have echoes. We do not experience that on yours. [The
fees are] reasonable. We pay $125 a month and have unlimited use. [We
are] highly satisfied [with the service from Telebridge]."
Strong facilitator
"So, Barry, what skills are most important for a successful teleconference?",
I queried. "You need to have a strong facilitator; someone who will control
the call and yet allow flexibility for everyone to participate." Barry
says that Telebridge has helped his company fulfill their mission. "We
have associates across the country that we meet with weekly and Telebridge
is our virtual conference room. Our challenge is how do we keep our contractors
feeling like they are part of the company. We do it through Telebridge
Teleconferencing."
You, too, can meet your company objectives with teleconferencing. Call 503-335-3442 or email me to learn more.
