Colin Rule Hello Everyone - As many of you know for the past eight months I have been working on completing "ResolutionWorksOnline," a comprehensive e-learning program that conveys a comprehensive system of conflict resolution and prevention education that also facilitates the resolution of conflict, and the preparation of collaborative agreements. Aside from a beta test for individuals I have been doing some selective private demonstrations. The response has been overwhelmingly positive. The program is being considered for inclusion by a group of researchers looking for ways to streamline federal government operations. There is a growing movement in the cyberworld to develop means of resolving and preventing conflict. ResolutionWorks@msn.com The initial e-learning platform enables learners to communicate with each other, share responses to reflective questions, and engage in threaded discussions on topics of importance. Progress is monitored by an expert facilitator. For virtual work groups learning together the chance to build teamship and productivity is extraordinary. I am especially excited by the transformative potential of e-learning given the huge potential reach of the electronic medium. I can envision large organizations - business, government, education, ngo's - as the distribution channel that provides practical skills that enable people to be more effective and more productive in their "work" world. These thinking and doing skills will carry over to their personal relationships which will impact all relationships. Given that countries are made up of people, we have the potential to create a more peaceful and stable planet as we increase the thinking and communication skills of individuals. As we increase knowlege and wisdom of individuals and create a digital movement people in our hungry world will be impacted in ways we cannot fully imagine. We are already developing asynchronous programs as well as specific application programs.
