Hello Friends -
I take special pleasure this year in thanking all of you for supporting my work, and supporting the aspiration of a greater sense of resolution and agreement in the world. I give thanks for the following. It includes simple pleasures we often take for granted...
> That my parents are still alive and essentially well
> That I have the gift of a gracious sister, loving partner and many wonderful friends and family members
> That I live in the glorious weather of Northern California
> That I am healthy, vibrant and have the privilege of sharing this human biological machine with some nameless co-pilot(s)
> That I get to do the work I was born to do
> That the American people have spoken very clearly
> That being alive is an ongoing education in what humans are capable of given our faculty for compassion and capacity for self-awareness and self-reflection
> That as frustrating as it might seem at times the seeds of renewal and aspiration can always create a new vision.
Appropriate for the feast of ThanksGiving I love to cook. In some ways living reflects the following two capacities I was told good cooks carry:
- the ability to make a great meal no matter the ingredients you have
- it is impossible to have a bad outcome, you're just on the way to something else
I hope your Holiday has been and will be a blessed feast no matter the ingredients you have or current circumstances...you are just on the way to something you never thought to dream. Keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Peace,
Stewart
