Quote of the Month:
Your life is a sacred journey. And it is about change, growth, discovery, movement, transformation; continuously expanding your vision of what is possible, stretching your soul, learning to see clearly and deeply, listening to your intuition, taking courageous challenges at every step along the way. You are on the path
exactly where you are meant to be right now
And from here, you can only go forward, shaping your life story into a magnificent tale of triumph, of healing, of courage, of beauty, of wisdom, of power, of dignity, and of love. Caroline Adams Photo: an unexpected discovery at Herring Cove Beach in Cape Cod
Becoming an Environmentalist for your Soul
When was the last time you stopped and took notice of your inner world? Whats the climate like? What is the state of your natural resources? Are your energies in balance? Is your landscape clear of litter? Is your soil rich in the nutrients necessary to support new growth? What steps can you take to make this a better, more peaceful, place? As with any worthy cause, the first step is to RAISE AWARENESS. Take a few minutes daily to check in with yourself. Whether its journaling in the morning, taking a walk at lunch, or some quiet contemplation in the evening, take note of how you are doing internally. Simply acknowledge your needs, listen to your feelings, and validate your being. Its like the old sixties song, I just stepped in to see what condition my condition was in. Next, CONSERVE YOUR RESOURSES. Notice what activities or people energize you and lift your spirits. At the same time, notice those that leave you feeling drained, either physically or emotionally depleted. Then gradually, increase the former and decrease the latter. With some you may have no choice in the matter, thats life, but you can balance the negatives by instilling more positives in your day. This leads to the next step, EXERCISE EXTREME SELF CARE. Youre worth it! All your relationships and your career will all benefit by you becoming a better you. And that means taking time for your self, being gentle with your self, nurturing your self, and honoring your self. If you become an environmentalist for your own soul, your entire world will become a better place.
Natures Coaching Tips:
Soular Energy: Input vs. Output Does the energy you expend in life equal the time and energy you invest in yourself? Here are some questions to ask yourselfto make your life more energy efficient.
1.Soular Panels: What activities, people, time and space have you installed in your life to receive light and positive energy? 2.Transformer: How can you better retain that energy and transform it into positive behavior and actions? 3.Support: What added sources of support do you have in place for when your personal resources are overwhelmed or depleted? 4.Output: Have you identified and prioritized all your out sources of energy?
