When a
trauma occurs, a person gets stuck in one or several negative beliefs.
The
beliefs are born as a protection for the person from the actual life situation.
For example, if a child is being hurt by an adult who is supposed to be
their protector, they may come up with beliefs like
"I
made this happen", "I
can't defend myself", "If I have something bad happen, I can
make it go away by leaving my body". These points of view are made
out of the infinite energy of each of us, so they exist
forever. Each of these points of view generate emotions such as sadness,
anger, grief, lonliness, despair, depression, apathy, frustration, and
so on. These emotions also are generated forever because they come from
our points of view.
The
points of view generate life situations and people who match our beliefs.
That's why the same patterns keep re-occurring in our lives.
What
happens when we are in the TAT pose is that we are immediately centered
in our true Self. In that condition, we put our attention on a trauma,
negative belief, allergy, physical illness or whatever is bothering us.
In the light of our own being, those points of view cannot exist. They
dissolve. The isolated part of yourself which had been living as a negative
point of view looks at your infinitely-attractive, true Self, which is
love and says "I'm in love! I don't want to live apart from you for
another moment!" It merges into You, happy to be merged in Love (You!).
Once
that occurs, which happens in a few seconds, there are no more negative
emotions generated from points of view born in that trauma.
There
is simply the peace of you being you.
