Symposium Changes

------------

Healing Allergies to Animals

Dear Friends,

We have been contacted by several people who would like to be grandfathered in as TAT Professionals and Trainers but who need some additional training. We feel it is important to take care of those who are eager to become certified and are therefore changing the Symposium offerings to make the needed trainings available. The new schedule is:

TAT Basics Workshop on Wednesday - Thursday morning, October 25 - 26
Questions & Answers Session on Thursday afternoon, October 26
Trainers Day on Friday, October 27
Weight Loss Workshop on Saturday, October 28
Inner Life Retreat on Sunday – Monday, October 29 - 30

Anyone who has taken one workshop (or viewed/listened to the Workshop 2000 recording) and done 25 sessions on themselves and 25 on others will be qualified to be grandfathered in as a Certified TAT Professional after the Symposium. To be certified as a Trainer, you need to have done an additional 25 sessions on yourself and 25 on others plus taken the Trainers Day. Both Professionals and Trainers must also agree to abide by the Code of Ethics. You can read more about that here.

For more information about all upcoming workshops and to register, please go to the calendar on the website. You may register for the entire Symposium or for specific days.

The DVD version of the Workshop 2000 will be available shortly. We will send a newsletter out as soon as they are ready to be shipped. The DVDs will be in Region 1 format. Those of you who are outside the US may want to consider the MP3 downloads if you don’t have a way to play Region 1 discs.

And now I have a wonderful story for you from a trainer in Ireland.

Last weekend I went to my best friend's 50th birthday celebration and saw someone whom I had met 2 years ago while staying at my friend's. My friend has 3 cats and 3 dogs (she has an old farmhouse and lots of room!). These other friends of hers were staying at the house as well, husband, wife and two children.

At that time, the husband was suffering from his allergy to cats, and after a whole day at the farm he was in a poor condition, sore eyes, breathing problems and nose running. I suggested that he might like to try something which may help him with his symptoms. I offered no guarantees. He was so desperate he said he would try anything!

I explained the TAT process to him and asked him if this sounded OK and if he was willing to try it. Having gotten his permission, I took him through the steps.

When he went into the pose and put his attention on "my allergy", he recalled a memory he had not previously thought of and said, "Oh, my mother had a cat and she loved it more than me." This was quite a revelation, and quite upsetting as he reconnected to this memory.

We continued with the TAT steps and by the end he had stopped sniffing, his eyes were not itching and sore and his breathing was easier.

I did not see him again for those two years until last weekend when he came bounding up to me absolutely delighted saying, "I am so glad you are here! I have to tell you my allergy has completely gone. It went after the TAT we did, and so has my allergy to other animals. It's incredible! Thank you so much."

I have another allergy success to tell you. Oh, this is such fun!

I am working with a girl of 6 with multiple allergy problems and they are slowly getting better. I have been working with her for a good year. During this time I also worked with her mother's fear of horses, which has gone. You may see a connection....

Lisa (not real name) was born with multiple allergies and has had several serious anaphylactic shock reactions and has to carry emergency medicine with her.

Her sensitivity to food and other products has greatly reduced over the past year. I worked with her on her allergy to horses. She couldn't even go near anyone who had been in contact with a horse without breaking out in red welts and swelling up, and this was very upsetting for both Lisa and her parents.

After we did TAT for the allergy -- which was very quick! -- she only had a very slight reaction the next time she went to pat a pony, slightly itchy skin but only very slight.

We did TAT again and now she is having riding lessons and no reaction at all!
I do love TAT, and she and her family have tangible proof of TAT working!
Her mother often sees her quietly using TAT on herself.

Love,
Sarah Bird

Our DVD, Healing Allergies and Traumas, lays out a simple and clear path for healing any type of allergy as well as the basic approach to healing a trauma.
We apologize to anyone who did not easily find our DVD recently. You can go here to read more about it and to order a copy.

If you feel a cold coming on, you can sometimes stop it in its tracks by doing TAT for the cold, considering it just as you would an allergic reaction. The cause of the cold would be treated as the allergen. You don’t need to know the cause of the cold, just make the intention that you are addressing the cause as you go through the Steps of TAT. In addition to the DVD mentioned above, download our free Steps of TAT and you will have a complete approach for healing allergic reactions with TAT.

You can also strengthen your immune system simply by holding the TAT Pose and visualizing your body successfully dealing with the virus or whatever the cause of the cold may be. Another effective way to increase your health is to sit in the pose for a minute or so with the thought “I enjoy radiant good health”, or “Thank you, God, for my radiant good health” as you visualize yourself experiencing good health.

Wishing you happiness and health,

Love,
Tapas
