Dear Friends,

I hope that you are well and happy.

One of the things that people tell me they love about TAT is the many ways in which it can be used. Today I have a story for you from Janet Gleeson about how she used TAT to help her friend deal with many physical issues, including a horrible infection.

My friend Kathy has had MS for 25 years now. This is the woman that I submitted my last story about. I think you remember that she had been upgraded to the worst stage of MS, but regained feeling in her hands, feet, legs; her muscle spasms stopped; she gained control of her bladder; stopped aspirating; we healed the lesions on her brain and disintegrated the plaque on her central nervous system with TAT. We really decided to go for it, didn't we? We just knew that everything was possible. Some of the associated emotional traumas were released with EFT.

Since then, I have worked with her occasionally when she's had problems. She'd had a confirmed lump in her breast that we disintegrated. Sometimes she has lost strength in her legs and couldn't stand until she held the pose and she'd get right up. Last week, one of her arms was weak and she couldn't raise it over her shoulder, even with help from her physical therapist, but we held the pose and she immediately raised it straight up. Everything is just so easy with TAT.

For the past 15 years she has been getting Interferon injections thinking that they were helping somehow and the doctor suggested that she have some kind of a "port" installed into her abdomen for easy injections, so she did. (Many times her veins were totally collapsed and it would take about eight tries or sometimes they couldn't even find a vein.) Sometimes she would call me, however, before her monthly injection and we'd do TAT and they could easily find a vein and insert the syringe on the first try.

Two weeks ago, I stopped in for a visit (we're friends) and she said she was in big trouble. She'd contracted an infection around the port (actually there were 12 infections simultaneously). She'd had a spot about the size of a quarter where her skin had turned black and hard and then the spot expanded way out. The diagnosis was pyodermagangrenosum (gangrene). The blackened dead skin was removed down many layers and she was left with a gaping hole in her abdomen and put on drugs. I understand the drugs usually have little effect on healing this condition.

We held the pose for the infection and the "opposite statement" was "this infection is healing in record time and the doctor will say "it's a miracle"." Then we tapped on how ugly the hole was and how sick it made her feel when she looked it and how scared she was, etc. She called me the next day and said that the wound looked better already. A nurse came to her house to change the bandage that day and said that it was really looking good.

At her first follow up visit last week with the dermatologist, the doctor removed the bandage and turned away from her and started crying. She said "it's healing beautifully -- it's a miracle". She said she was soooooo worried about what she was going to find when she removed the bandages. I recently heard from a nurse that in many cases, this type of infection is fatal.

I asked Kathy if she told the doctor that she'd done energy work and she said no. She said that I can go with her to her last follow-up appointment to tell the doctor all about TAT. She was afraid that the doctor would refuse to see her again if she found out that she'd done alternative therapy like her neurologist had threatened six years ago.

Just another wonderful story in the life of a TAT practitioner. Thank you Tapas for all you've done!!
