Now that you've been exploring who you are (see our previous issue), let me ask you a question: "How big are you?" I don't mean the physical size of your body, I mean how far does your influence reach? How many people's lives do you think you've touched - a little or alot? 10, 50, 100, 1000, tens of thousands, a million?

My experience and those of my clients are that we significantly underestimate our influence on the world around us.

You know the Christmas movie "It's A Wonderful Life", starring Jimmy
Stewart? Jimmy's character experiences what life would be like if he never existed. He gets to see how much his BEing alive has affected the people and even the town around him.

Wouldn't it be great if we could each have our own experience of "It's A Wonderful Life"? Then you would know - in your bones - how many people you have touched, including the ones you don't even know about!

Imagine for a moment, standing on the stage of an auditorium in front of an overflowing audience. Standing room only. Don't worry, they're not here to watch you perform. They're here to acknowledge YOU. They're here to thank YOU for the difference you've made in their lives, by Being YOU.

In an instant, they're all on their feet, clapping their hands in a thunderous standing ovation, for YOU! How does that feel? Let it SINK IN.

I invite you to acknowledge your contributions to your family, your friends, your community, even the world. You make a difference just by Being YOU!

ACTION ITEMS:

1) Is there someone you admire or look up to? How do you feel about yourself compared to them - equal, greater, less than? (For example, some of my favorite spiritual teachers are Marianne Williamson, Carolyn Myss, and Debbie Ford. I think of myself as smaller than them.)

Remember, you are a Spiritual Being, straight from Source/God - you are as magnificent, brilliant and from the same place as they are. As Spirit, we're all equal. :D Now ask yourself, what small step could you take to embody/integrate that knowing? When will you take that step?

2) Knowing that your life is like a stone dropped in a pond, rippling out into the lives of others, and that the ripples extend much farther than you realize, how would it affect you? Would you act differently? Would you share more of your Self? Would you have more confidence and give your Self more credit?
